Furniture and Decor stores

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased my piece of paradise on the Dutch side of the island having fallen in love with Sint Maarten after the second visit.
I would like to do some updating inside such as pillows and other accent pieces, but most importantly living room furniture into something more modern.

I'm very tight on the budget having just purchased the condo (and of course I know that everything on the island is more expensive) but I'm hoping some of you can point me in the right direction and recommend some stores on the island that would work.

If you do happen to know of something you can share, please also include an address as I am new to the island and have difficulty getting around with just landmarks.

Thank you soooo much for all of your help in advance.

If you're on Facebook, you might want to look at this page and buy second hand. Some nice things come and go there.

"First Deco" In Marigot, Bellevue, just at the entrance of Marigot when you arrive from Cole Bay at the little round about. Inexpensive, modern items
They have a little bit more upscale store called First Tendance, which is also in Bellevue Marigot, on the left inside when you arrive in Marigot, in the commercial area.

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Thanks for the First Deco suggestion Philippe! Didn't realize what they had inside.

Just bought a lovely chest from Tendance, love that shop but not inexpensive for sure.
