Early coffe in Cupecoy?

Hi all.

Used to really enjoy the colourful cottage across from the Atrium, but now when in Pelican Key, the early morning walk takes me to Sucriere for early morning coffee and pastry.

This next trip we are trying a week in Cupecoy as well; is there a comparable place there for a walk / coffee / maybe a pastry to start off the day?

Thanks in advance.

YES!! Please help. I also enjoy an early morning walk, coffee, and a pastry. I remember going to that same colorful cottage across from the Atrium, too. However, primarily because of the increasing traffic, congestion, and development in the Simpson Beach area, this year, we will be staying in the Cupecoy beach area for a week in early December.
Is there a comparable petite café near Cupecoy??

Hi Lance. We are not there until early spring, so please let us know if you find something in Cupecoy. Will certainly visit La Sucriere when in the Simpson Bay area as well. Does not look extraordinary from the road, but you can walk through to a deck on the lagoon to enjow coffee and great pastry; very peaceful in the morning.....

Thanks, Barbara. I'll check out the Sugar Cane Café and the place across from the Rainbow Club.
Bruce, I'll be sure to report back after our trip

The restaurant across from Rainbow is FIG. We have eaten there several times, and look forward again when we arrive next Tues., the 29th.

There is a coffee shop up on the hill behind Atlantis Casino, near the AUC Medical school.

Thanks everybody. Where I see Fig on google maps, I seem to recall a wine store, fresh food and pastry place, but that may have been a few years ago. In the past, this neighbourhood has been a place to drive through on the way to French side beaches, but looking forward to spending a little time there now.

Had a great trip. Happy to report back that there are options for morning coffee and pastry. There is a little coffee shop behind the casino near the casino gate, pastries there are very good. Also Fat Tony just around the corner from there, also behind the casino, has good coffee as well. I think some of the spots in Puerto Cupecoy also had coffee and pastry but never made it there to check out.

We did try Fig as well and had a great steak. And we tried the Green Monkey on ribs night and enjoyed that as well.
