SXM living cost

Hi all!
I'm currently evaluating a job offer from a company based in some islands in the Caribbean, being SXM one of them and the most likely I'd be located. In order to make a decision I need information about the cost of living in SXM... how much would I spent monthly in rent (1 bedroom apartment, nothing luxurious but in a secure zone), utilities and food? I'm not sure whether I'll be in the french or in the dutch side, so information about both sides will be equally useful.
Any information will be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance, have a great week!!

It is difficult to give yo exact figures. the electricity cost on the french side are cheaper than the dutch side, but other than that I don;t knwo much abotu french side rentals.
On the Dutch side for a decent one bedroom apartment expect to pay anywhere between $800 - $1200 per month plus utilities. Utilities can run as high as a couple of hundred dollars a month depending on how much electricity you use.
food? well, again depends on what you eat. Maybe at least $150 a month?
