Seamans club in St. Maarten

I am scheduled to arrive in St Maarten on Dec 8 2011 onboard the Norwegian Dawn cruise ship. Can you tell me if the Seamans club in St Maarten will be open during the hours that the ship is in port. It is my birthday on Dec 8 and I am looking for a good time. Thank you!!

yes it is open. there is also another club where the seamans used to be as the seamans has moved in the back of the same building. dont know the name of it as i never looked at the sign.
