Here's a nice article from today's TodaySXM about a local restaurant giving back in a great way to the community.
Anyone ever visited or ate at Cindy's Roti Shop in Sucker Gardens?

roti is an Indian flat bread filled usually with curried chicken or goat. it is a popular dish in Trinidad and very tasty.

Sucker Garden is a residential area one would pass through on the road from Oyster Pond to Philipsburg

Others who have responded to my question said that her shop is kind of across from El Capitan or old Seaman Club on road from P-burg to Oyster Pond.

Norm, I tried roti from Cindy's yesterday and it was delicious. I had the goat roti. She also advertised chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetable roti.
I think I'll have to try them all. She makes a good roti!

Thanks Barb, for the test tasting. Perhaps your next visit you would take a couple pics of the place, the Roti, and maybe Cindy.
