Permit or permission to work on Orient Bay

Hi,
do you need a permit or permission to work on Orient Bay?
I would like to start a business on the Orient Bay, but I want to know if you need to rent a pitch on the beach, or can anyone just work there?
I know on some beaches you have to pay for a permit or pitch, is this the case in St. Martin?
Many thanks for your replies.
Regards, johnnyforeigner.

Any business like everywhere else in the world have to be registered and in proper order to function! Except if you have a couple of millions of dollars to invest, I would suggest you to forget about Orient Bay!.... All of those business are concessions already attributed to people and I don't believe that there will be new concessions to be created or sold to people in a near future.

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Would be good information to know a bit more, like where are you from? Important to ensure you have all your legal papers to work on the island. Different for the French and the Dutch side. You can't just show up and start a business, or start a job, of course, if you want to do it legally...
