We are EU national family (German) looking at re-locating to St. Martin for a couple of years. Primarily we speak English and German. My wife also speaks French. We are interested in learning about the school system and having difficult finding much online.

During our visit last year we were told that the schools on the Frenchside follow the same system as in France. We were also told that some instruction is in English in certain schools. We are looking for a school for our children ages 10 and 12 that can offer some instruction English to ease the transition while they study and learn French. Can anyone recommend a source, website or certain schools that might match our needs. We can't afford the 20,000 euro a year schools. However, if the school system matchs that of France we thought there might be some bi-lingual or tri-lingual schools with fees that could match our budget.
