HI EVERYONE,

I NEED TO SIGN UP FOR DIRECT TV OR A TV COMPANY. WE USED TO BE WITH DIRECT TV OUT OF PHILLIPSBURG BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE NO MATTER WHAT TIME I CALL. CAN YOU SUGGEST A COMPANY, WE ARE ON THE FRENCH SIDE, ORIENT BAY. WE WOULD LIKE STATIONS BACK HERE IN U.S.

THANK YOU,
JKAYE

We used to get Dish Network on Dutch side from Minder but that was years ago.
I am not sure you can get it on the French side.
Good luck

We just signed with Dish network two weeks ago down here in St Martin using our Florida adress and we went with direclinks which is located exactly behind Rima in Philipsburg... We already had a 4 ft satellite dish from a previous system installed and direted toward the good sat, we just need a Dish Network box and a suscription. We had service before we return home after paying everything with them so they were very prompt:

Direclinks Address: Back Street 104 Phone: (599) 542-6802 Fax: (599) 542-6801
sales@direclinks.us

And we are VERY glad to be back on!....

Kind Regards,
Philippe

and you forgot to mention that you are on the french side.
and the requirement is that you have a USA address to use, right?
btw, if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for a subscription and how many channels do you get?

Well if we didn't had a USA adress they would have provided one that we could use for that purpose.
I think we are paying $45 for 200 plus TV channels and about 50 radio channels

Kind Regards,
Philippe

and you have just one receiver righy?
I am thinking about subscribing but I have 4 cable tv boxes and I want TV in all those places.
it's expensive to do that with satellite TV.
of course, cable sure isn't cheap either

THANKS PHILIPPE FOR THE INFO. WE ALSO HAVE A US ADDRESS SO DOES THAT MEAN THE BILL WILL GO TO OUR HOUSE IN US. CAN YOU PAY FOR ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE SINCE WE STAY IN ST. MARTIN 4 TIMES A YEAR.

They (Dish Network..) are NOT supposed to know that your system is for outside the US since they are not licensed for it... This is why Direclinks is using US addresses to set up the account. Everything is done through the internet, including the payment using credit card or automatic bank account withdrawal.. but I think you also pay a year in advance

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Depending on where you are in Orient Bay, you can get St. Martin Cable service. About 90 channels (including U.S. networks) for about 36 Euros/month, regardlewss of how many tv's you have.

My best advice is to look into Slingbox & Slingcatcher for your TV's in SXM. Go to Slingmedia & get all of the info. Using them allows you to watch your US cable TV legally as long as you have high speed internet in both locations. I use it here in SXM & I watch my Cablevision from NY including using the DVR feature of the box I have hooked up to the SlingBox. The only costs are the initial purchase of the Slingbox & the Slingcatcher but there are no additional cable costs since you would be paying them at your US address anyway.

The new numbers for Direclinks are 599-XXXXXXXX and 599-XXXXXXXX. We work directly with Dish Network. Thanks for the kind words.

Lyndon, I actually had those kind words BEFORE knowing how you treat your customers (me..) when they question you regarding some facts (like all the accounts are registered in broklyn under your wife name and it is impossible to change them to the customer's name...) and how you reply to their question through email with an attitude... If I had to chose today, I will not chose your "business"

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Still Thanks. If I remember well, I did everything you requested, provided you all the info you requested, and you still continued to ask me to do things that was not possible. Have a great day. I still recommend your site.
