and as an American, it is basically impossible on either side.
unless you have a special skill and get an employer to hire you and file for you.

Barbara and/or Elaine,

Even if you have that 'special skill' isn't there some sort of prerequisite where the employer has to apply for you prior to your being 'on' island? Or something along those lines? I remember reading something a while back but the totality of it escapes me now.

yes, Pat. by law, the employer files for you. then when the papers are approved you may enter the island legally. It can take up to a year to get papers approved, as Elaine well knows LOL

The beauty of caribeann make everybody to fall in love of the islands and the idea to enjoy the family, everybody is trying to escape from the stress and make a dramatic chanage.. why not? please help us to find home is a escape.
