Hey every1,
Anyone knows where to go on christmas eve, the 24th? Is there anywhere we can go for a nice turkey dinner? And then maybe a place to hang out?
Thanks!

There are many restaurant who will have specials that night. Like we said previously, Europeans celebrate Christmas Eve "heavilly" and even though most of them will stay home to have the traditonal "reveillon" with chidren, familly and friends, all the restaurants in the French side will have their door open with a Chrismas Menu, beside their regular "a la carte"... I beleive that some of the Restaurant on the Dutch side will do the same. I am sure you won't have any difficulties to find a place, may be a little bit more to make a choice since most of them will propose something great.
Take in consideration that reservation will be highly recommended anywhere you want to go that night.
Since the question was asked and knowing the product, at Captain Oliver's in Oyster Pond, we are doing a special Christmas Buffet with all the delicatessies, turkey, oysters, etc... for Christmas Eve, with live music and dance floor

Kind Regards,
Philippe

How about New Years Eve? Can anyone recommend a great restaurant on the French side in Marigot or Grand Case?

Philippe,
That sounds great for Christmas Eve :-) Do we need reservations for Captain Oliver's for that evening?
By the way, I sent emails to the email addresses you gave me for The Cottages de Lonvilliers with no luck - no reply :-(
See you next week,
Eva

Eva, anywhere you will go for Christmass eve I would recommend you to make reservation in advance... Restaurant will be packed and us like most of them will not be able to accept "walkins"

Kind Regards,
Philippe

I would recommend Le Chanteclair or Le Tropicana in Marigot, La Marine in Gd Case, and also l"Astrolabe in Orient Bay.
