Having a bonfire on the beach

We are staying in Guana Bay and we heard that the beaches are very remote and deserted; therefore, is it possible to have a bonfire on the beach????

Guana Bay is a residential area primarily. Although the beach is not that frequently used, there are many houses nearby.
I do not think it is legal to build a bonfire on the beach.
I am not sure why you would want to do that anyway.
I remember we used to build bonfires years ago in the States, but that was because it was chilly at night and we all huddled around to stay warm.
it is not chilly like that here.
If you wanted to cook out, better to use a small portable hibachi.
