beach and snorkelling

i am travelling to sm in dec on a cruise ship with two small children. where is the nearest nice beach to phillipsburg for some relaxing and maybe some snorkelling?

If your just wanting a beach then the beach right in Philipberg is fine but if you want to snorkle pay the few dollars and go to DiviDivi. Its a full service beach and has food and restrooms and pretty good snorkling.

Divi Little Bay is a nice beach, close by, and excellent for children as water is calm and doesn't drop off. There are lots of water sport activities there too. Have fun.

Agree about Divi Little Bay. Nice beach with very calm water. Some of the cruise ships offer excursions to Divi which include transport and lunch. Makes it easy, especially if traveling with couple small kids.
