It is amazing to me how many times people ask for the exact same info that is already given in previous notes in a thread. LOLOL

Thank you all for the data given, especially for the link in jimandi's reply.

I will be going to St. Martin Dutch side in March of 2013 I will be staying at the Flamingo Resort in Simpson Bay. Would anyone know how to get to Mary Star Of The Sea Catholic Church and how far it is from the hotel and also, what time mass is on Sat. evening. I did see some messages but they were posted a few years ago and I am not sure if the times have changed.
If anyone can answer my questions I would appreciate it. Thanks

Unless the scheudle has changed, mass at Mary Star of the Sea is on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. I wish it were on Saturday. Getting to St. Martin in P'burg on Saturday afternoon for a reasonable travel time can be a real challenge.

I cannot give you precise directions, but, driving from the Simpson Bay area, as you reach the airport runway, turn left. Drive a block or two, then turn left again. The Church is another block or two. Google maps should be able to give you the precise location.

Bill, you can't make the second left you mentioned because the road is one way there. Coming from the Flamingo you would cross the bridge and the turn left and go around in back of the police station and pick up Simpson Bay Rd. The church is a few blocks up on the right hand side.

Hi all:

Trying to find more info about the Catholic church in the French Quarter, but so far Google has failed me. Does anyone know the times of Sunday mass at this church? Also, directions or a phone number/website would be so helpful!

Thanks for any help you can provide--we are traveling at the end of November 2013.

Where would the closest church be near the Sonesta Moho Beach Resort? English service. Church time would be appreciated as well.

Please reply to me at my email.

Thanks

this is the web site for the Catholic church in Philipsburg which is closest to the cruise ship terminal.
I believe you could contact them for mass times on the 31st. As far as I know, there would only be a midnight mass.

I don't think any of the other churches on the island would be a consideration for you if you are coming in on a cruise ship. The traffic is very high on that day.
