Cae Jae Haven

Has anyone stayed at Cae Jae Haven? It's our first trip to the island and we would like to avoid rookie mistakes. is it better to take taxis or to rent a car for the week?

I don't know about your villa, but it is best to rent a car. Way too many places to go and see to rely on taxis.

Hi,
My husband and I use to go there about 10 years ago. At That time it was clean and it had a nice swimming pool. It is located just in back of the Pelican resort.
We had some great times there. You get a great view of the ships going in to Philipsburge. You have to get up early to see them. Let me know if you like staying there.

During our Pres wks trip we read in the DH they're was a few attempted breakins in that area.Hopefully the security has been improved.IMO, its best to rent a car for the wk.Never leave any items in your car & trunk while shopping or at the beach.( not even for a few minutes)good luck

We stayed there around 5 years ago, I think it depends on the unit you rent. We had one which was very nice. It is very quiet there!
